2024 in Review: A Remarkable Year

It's hard to believe the end of 2024 is almost here. The year flew by, and what a year it has been—for me, my family, and our entire community!

In January, my husband and I achieved a long-time dream: buying a charming farmhouse in Virginia. Between January and April, we made 11 trips from Connecticut to Virginia to relocate our belongings and settle in our new home.

My favorite trip was driving our eight backyard chickens in the back of our SUV and moving them into their newly renovated coop.

May brought two huge milestones: my daughter graduated from college, and we celebrated becoming first-time grandparents, thanks to my stepson, David, and his girlfriend, Jade. The summer months were a whirlwind of projects around the farm and special visits from my stepsons, Charlie and Stephen.

As the end of the year rolled in, we proudly welcomed cohort #23 into my signature course, VA School. It's been a privilege guiding my students as they begin their journeys to build successful Virtual Assistant businesses—equipping them with the smartest, fastest strategies to work from home, enjoy time flexibility, and achieve consistent income.

The growth in our online community, The VA Connection®, has been incredible. We expanded from 32,000 to 56,000 members and hosted over 150 free training sessions, community mixers, and educational events.

Our commitment to supporting our community doubled as we expanded our Ambassador program from 5 to 10. Our dedicated Ambassadors have been essential in directing our members through our library of over 200 articles and 800 videos to assist in their Virtual Assistant journeys.

Looking ahead, 2025 is bursting with excitement and opportunity. We're gearing up to welcome a new VA School cohort in January 2025, so get ready.

I can't wait to help even more people start their paths working from home with flexible, fulfilling careers as Virtual Assistants. Stay tuned for brand new training every week on our blog, online community, and our YouTube channel.
